1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

LMC Restored Cobra Jet Shelby

The Shelby GT-500 was always considered not just a muscle car, but among the best grand touring performance cars. By 1969, with the Cobra Jet 428, that reputation was only further enhanced. It was a true muscle car that came with all the creature comforts the consumer would desire.

This absolutely stunning 1969 Shelby GT-500 is finished in its factory correct color of Black Jade with white bucket interior. Restored by the incredible craftsmen in the shop here at Legendary Motorcar, the same guys responsible for the perfect score on the 1965 "R" model at the 2011 Shelby Convention, this fastback GT-500 shows great attention to detail from the engine to the interior to the paint and undercarriage. Equipped with the numbers matching 428 Cobra Jet motor, it also showcases some of the more desirable factory options including power steering, power brakes, tilt/swing away steering wheel traction-lok differential, close ratio 4 speed,Shelbyspecific roll bar with shoulder harnesses, Lucas fog lamps and much more. Of course this GT-500 comes with a complete breakdown of its originality with a deluxe Marti Report meaning it truly has all the boxes checked, beautiful ground up restoration, numbers matching 428 CJ, great colour combination and the documentation to back it all up; a perfect addition for the collector or Shelby enthusias.
