Chevrolet produced the Chevy II/Nova through the years of 1962 to 1979, then again through 1985 to 1988. Over the years the Chevy II/Nova had many different appearances and models ranging from a 2-door coupe, to a 4-door station wagon. It also had many different engine options ranging from a 90HP 153 cu in L4, to a 375HP L78, which made the Nova a popular choice for families and drag racers alike. In 1968, Chevrolet introduced the Super Sport option that solidified the Nova’s muscle car presence.

This 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS was produced in the Willow Run, Michigan Assembly Plant and had a shipping date of March, 20, 1969 and was delivered to Orr Automobiles Ltd. It had a sticker price listed at $3,721.40 that included many desirable factory options such as; positraction rear axle with 3.55 ratio, front disc brakes, exterior décor, AM pushbutton radio, and SS body conversion. It is powered by a numbers matching 350 engine and the optional M20 wide ratio 4-speed manual transmission. This documented Nova SS is finished in its desirable factory code “51” Dusk Blue color with matching code “735” Blue interior trim. The Dusk Blue exterior is in beautiful condition and has been wet sanded and polished.  Inside, you will find that the Blue Vinyl interior is in just as remarkable condition as the exterior. The undercarriage of this Nova has been meticulously restored and detailed with great attention, complete with factory stickers, paint dabs and chalk markings. This beautiful Nova comes fully documented by General Motors and copies of original registration.

This fully documented 1969 Nova SS is an absolutely wonderful example of a car that has benefited from a meticulous rotisserie nut and bolt restoration, with the interior, exterior, undercarriage, and engine bay all being in beautiful condition. If you’re looking for a Nova that looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, this just might be the Nova you’ve been looking for.
