2008 Porsche Boxster S RS60

Limited Edition - #0701 of 1960 Produced

To help commemorate some of Porsche impressive racing history, in 2008 they introduced a limited edition of the Boxster called the RS60. In 1960, the original RS60 model 718 Porsche finished 1st and 2nd beating out the all larger competitors at the 12 hours of Sebring race, and also took the win at Targa Florio. As a tribute, 1960 copies of the Boxster S RS60 were produced, all badged and numbered by a plaque on the dash.

Presented here is #0701 of the 1960, finished in GT Silver Metallic, contrasted beautifully with Carrera Red leather interior and a black convertible top. The 3.4L horizontally opposed 6 cylinder engine sports the RS60 specific exhaust and tuning to generate 303hp, making it the first Boxster model to surpass the 300 hp mark. Fully optioned, #0701 comes with HID headlights, heated seats, BOSE sound system, Porsche wind blocker and the sport chrono package among others, all this in addition to the equipment already outfitted on the Boxster S RS60 such as traction control, Porsche Stability Management and automatic climate control. Showing only 8,090 original miles (13,019 kms), the car shows beautifully from top to bottom and would make a perfect addition to the garage of not only the enthusiast in search of open air driving, but the Porsche enthusiast with a special interest in racing history.
