When approached by a client who had a desire to race a Shelby 427 Cobra, we seized the opportunity and set to building a very fast, but more importantly, safe race car. Starting with a fresh aluminum body, we custom fabricated a complete roll bar/cage to ensure maximum safety, then work began to the drivetrain and suspension and the application of the classic Essex Wire paint scheme. The result was a Cobra capable of running at the front of Group 6 SVRA events and with a look that turns heads every time it appears at the racetrack!!
