1989 Aston Martin Vantage Volante
Rare - Triple Black - 5-speed

Traditionally, Aston Martins had the option of a 'tweaked' engine and such cars were known as 'Vantage'. By 1976 the V8 finally received the 'Vantage' treatment but, instead of just a more powerful engine, the V8 Vantage was a completely separate model. Power output was increased, the suspension was upgraded and the car received a large air dam, blanked off grille and tail spoiler. The open version (the Volante) was introduced many years after the standard car. The 58 left hand drive examples were all exported, principally to the USA. Of these, 47 had automatic transmission and only 11 had the 5 speed manual transmission.

This particular example is finished in the very desirable triple black color combination and is one of the very rare 5-speed, left hand drivers. It has been recently serviced by an Aston Martin specialist and with the only 19,165 miles is in excellent condition. It is complete with European style bumpers, Nardi Aston Wood steering wheel, spare-tire, jack assembly, tool kit and owners manual. Not only the rarity and desirably make this car extremely collectible but also the fact that it was once owned by movie star Nicholas Cage. This is a very unique opportunity to purchase a very special Aston with celebrity ownership history.
