1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
Restored LS6 with full documentation
This LS6 was scheduled for production on December 18th 1969 at the
Lakewood - Atlanta, Georgia assembly plant. On January 13th 1970 Dean
Barnes of NC became the proud new owner of his 450hp 1970 Chevelle. He
purchased the car from Gaddy Motor Co Inc in Wilkesboro, NC, in fact
the car remained in NC most of its life. It is equipped with a numbers
matching LS6 454/450hp engine, numbers matching M40 Turbo Hydramatic
automatic transmission, CCF 3.31 12 bolt rear end, power steering,
power brakes, functional cowl induction, tachometer, F41 suspension,
AM/FM radio, front bumper guards, remote mirror, soft ray tinted glass,
and complete with; T3 headlights, smog, spiral shocks, Gardner exhaust,
and much more. It is finished in Champagne Gold, with black strips,
black vinyl top, and a black interior. It is very well documented with
two build sheets, owner history, copy of original dealer invoice, and
past: titles, applications of transfer, invoices, and inspections. This
is a great opportunity to own a frame off nut and bolt, fully restored,
fully documented, and numbers matching 450hp 1970 Chevelle SS.
