Easily among the most desirable Corvettes of all time are the mid-year Roadsters. Always considered to be ahead of their time for drivability, performance and style, these cars make excellent afternoon cruisers, or stunning show cars. This original small block example, finished in stunning Trophy Blue with beautiful blue leather interior takes all this to a new level. A more modern drive train has been installed, a stroked 383 cu in motor making approximately 425hp and a Tremec 5 speed manual transmission, adding to its already impressive performance, but also to the cars comfort level at highway speeds. The addition of a vintage air system makes this car a pleasant driver no matter what the temperature. Other modern features include a rack and pinion steering assembly, stainless steel brake lines, electronic ignition, custom aluminum radiator, Lakewood scatter shield, Moroso high volume oil pan and pump plus more. Other factory style options include, power steering, power brakes, headrest seats, teak steering wheel, side pipe exhaust and knock off wheels with radial white line tires. Having been beautifully restored with little use since, this roadster turns plenty of heads and is both a comfort and joy to drive.
