1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible
Absolutely Loaded Original Tri Power Convertible
This beautiful ultra desirable factory Starlight Black on Medium Red bucket interior 1964 Pontiac GTO was assembled at the Fremont California plant. Then delivered to PC Kissick Pontiac Inc, only 20 miles away in San Leandro California where it was sold to its original owner, Walter Cunha. When this car was ordered almost every option was checked off some of which include Tri Power 389 engine, M20 4 speed transmission, front console, positract rear end, power steering, power windows, power brakes, remote mirror, power top, power antenna, tinted glass A-W, complete mirror group, complete lamp group, N30 optional steering wheel, back up lights, tilt steering column, factory tach, and of course the most important option of all, the GTO package. Of course all this is fully documented from the Pontiac Historic Services, and also includes original build sheet, 1964 application for new vehicle registration, original dealer warranty paperwork, 1964 DMV receipt, odometer mileage statement from original owner and even a 1988 California pink slip still in the original owners name.
This GTO was retained by its original owner until 1989 when it was sold at auction (bill of sale included), this incredible car has never been restored and still shows beautifully. Other than the usual service items, the car has only had one exterior repaint many years ago and is still original in trunk as well as underhood and interior remains original with exception of replacement carpet. All the factory options still remain and function as they are meant to, even the power antenna! The 389 Tri Power still starts and runs just as it did when new, and still has the ability to push you back into the medium red bucket seats while singing a song out the tailpipes that could only come from a 60's American muscle car.
