1930 Ford Model "A"
Original Steel Body/Steel Fender Street Rod
This nicely restored Ford Model "A" is painted Windveil Blue Metallic (colour taken from 2005 Ford Mustang) with Black Fenders. Powered by a 283 cubic inch small block Chevy, a Turbo Hydramatic 350 transmission with a Ford rear end, this car performs as a good street rod should. And thanks to a set of headers and a Flowmaster muffler exhaust it also has the sound of a good street rod. To create the appropriate stance, Heidts four bar rear suspension was used with coil over springs and gas shocks, Torque Thrust II wheels and BF Goodrich tires. Outfitted with all new interior, everything from a fully concealed modern sound system, power windows built into the stock appearing window cranks, Vintage Air heating system, Accel Keyless ignition system and a billet banjo steering wheel.
This is a beautiful example of a well built, reliable and very driveable steel bodied street rod, complete with rumble seat, ready to be driven and enjoyed.
