1969 Pontiac Trans Am

Very desirable and fully documented

Following the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac entered the Pony Car market in 1967 with its own F-Body car, the Pontiac Firebird. Although a stout performer, the Firebird spent its first years of production sharing Chevrolet power trains with the Camaro, not until 1969 did a performance oriented version come to market which was most definitely all Pontiac, the Pontiac Trans Am was born.

This example of the desirable Trans Am model was original sold by Jenner Motors in Edmonton Alberta. Painted the requisite Trans Am colours of Cameo Ivory with blue striping, matched up with dark blue interior; it features a numbers matching Ram Air III engine factory rated at 335 hp, mated to a numbers matching M20 4 speed transmission and a 3.55 gear rear end. This very collectible car comes nicely equipped with some very desirable options, most notably being the stack gauge package in addition to Rally II wheels, power steering, power disc brakes, front console and the handling package. Having never required a full restoration, this car still shows its factory original spot welds on the floor pans and runs and drives just as you would expect from a car that has never been taken apart. This is an extremely well maintained Trans Am that comes complete with original selling dealer name plate affixed to the rear tail panel. Of course it comes fully documented by the Pontiac Historical Society and General Motors of Canada but also retains its original Protect-o-plate and ownership history.   A low production, true muscle car icon that is ready to turn heads and impress Pontiac and muscle car enthusiasts a like.
