1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

Legend Concours Certification

1969 is one of the most popular years of all time for the Camaro. Maybe it's because this was the last year of the first generation, or perhaps it's because high-performance cars were reaching their peak. The Z/28 package came standard with DZ302 V8 engine with 11.0:1 compression, Holley carburetor, aluminium high-rise intake, special solid-lifter cam, double-bump heads, heavy duty radiator, quick ratio steering, heavy duty suspension, 3.73 axle ratio, dual exhaust, and more. Mandatory was power disc brakes and a four speed transmission.

Richard A. Bowen of Bountiful , Utah purchased this car brand new on November 3, 19 69 from Roy Price Chevrolet. It was built at the Norwood plant in the third week of October. It is finished in its original color of Fathom Green, with white strips, and a Midnight Green interior. Equipment includes a numbers matching 302/290hp engine, a numbers matching 4 speed transmission, and factory BU 3.73 positraction rear-axle. Optional equipment includes tinted glass, AM radio, console with gauges, D80 front and rear spoilers, simulated wood grain steering wheel, tilt steering, X33 trim package and much more. This car has been restored to a level far beyond most with the greatest attention to quality, authenticity, and originality. It has won an American Camaro Association Bow Tie award and went on to receive the very prestigious June 25th 2006 Legend Concours Certification. Documentation consists of Protecto Plate, original selling dealer’s receipt of payment, original Utah highway patrol safety inspection, Jerry MacNeish visual inspection, and Jerry NacNeish Certificate of Authenticity. The Smog equipment, L.O.F. glass, T3 headlights, and proper Y.H. rims with the optional Firestone Sport Car 200 tires are just a few examples of the authentic equipment in the car. Since the completion of the restoration this car has seen no miles and looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. Very rarely do cars like this hit the Market. This is a great opportunity to purchase one of the best Z28s available today.
