For 2010,
the Ford Mustang received its first major restyle since the introduction
of the
new platform in 2005, this also meant a new Shelby GT500 was on the way!
Presented
here is a 2010 model GT500, finished in stunning Kona Blue with white
stripes.
To complement the redesign, the drivetrain was also upgraded with the
5.4L
Supercharged DOHC V8 engine now producing 540hp and 510 lb/ft of torque,
the 6
speed transmission has also benefited from a short throw linkage and new
dual
disc clutch system putting the power to the 3.55:1 rear gear. Adding to
the
aggressive look are smoked 19” wheels shod with 255/40ZR19 tires on the
front
with 285/35ZR19’s on the back. This particular Shelby comes fully set up
with all options
such as touch screen navigation, Fords award winning SYNC system, ambient
lighting and HID
headlights. With only 560 miles (901 km) showing, this Shelby is in as new, as
delivered
condition, a beautiful example of most powerful factory Mustang
produced.
