In
late 1992, Ferrari announced a special edition of the 348 destined for North America, designed to send the
348 off on a high note before the introduction of the new for 1994 model year
355. The Serie Speciale had a limited production run of 100 units, they
featured many cosmetic updates including special tail lights, front spoiler and
fully colour coded side skirts. On the performance side they all came with
slightly improved aerodynamics and tubular exhaust giving more horsepower and a
more aggressive sound.
This
stunning 1993 Ferrari 348 TS Serie Speciale has been very nicely maintained
over the years. Painted as some say all Ferrari’s should, in beautiful Rosso
Corsa Red paint with tan interior. Powered by a 3.4 litre V8 rated at 310hp
with a 5 speed transmission this car has the performance to match the
incredible sound emitted from the Serie Speciale tubular exhaust. Being a “TS”
model, it also features a fully removable Targa roof, and has also been nicely
upgraded with a more modern sound and security system. From the eye grabbing
Rosso Corsa red paint, to the Testarossa derived side vents to the full tubular
