NCRS Top Flight Award
Winner with GM Canada Documentation
Following in the footsteps of the ever popular mid
year Corvettes was going to be difficult. Fortunately for Corvette enthusiasts,
Chevrolet was up for the challenge and with the introduction of the C3 body
style in 1968, they began another exciting chapter in the history of the
Corvette.
On December 22, 1969,
a very fortunate customer of Park Avenue Chev Olds in St. Leonard, QC
ensured he would have a Merry Christmas by trading
in his 1969 Olds Cutlass 4-4-2 and sliding into the saddle leather interior and
driving home this brand new 1969 Corvette 427 Roadster finished in Riverside
Gold. This attractive big block Vette is very nicely equipped with many documented
factory options such as power windows, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM push
button radio and a 4.11 geared posi rear end to handle the power from the
numbers matching 427/390hp engine and M21 close ratio transmission.
Having benefited from a complete rotisserie
restoration, this Corvette has also earned a Top Flight award from the Corvette
experts within the NCRS and shows absolutely beautifully. Of course to back up
this car, it also comes with full documentation courtesy of GM of Canada’s
Historical Services department in addition to the original bill of sale and
previous owner warranty information sheet along with the NCRS judging sheets. A
beautifully restored, award winning 427 Corvette Roadster with documentation
makes this Corvette a rare opportunity for the collector or Corvette
enthusiast.
