Beautiful Big Block with Air Conditioning
The Chevrolet Chevelle SS, based on the
Malibu body, is easily one of the most recognizable cars of the muscle car era, unmistakeable body lines and big block power have also made them among the most popular produced by not only General Motors but every other manufacturer in the business of building tire melting muscle cars.
This
Atlanta built 1969 model Chevelle comes painted its factory colour of Garnet Red with a black vinyl roof and matching factory black bucket interior with console. It is powered by a 350 horsepower version of the legendary 396 cu in big block motor backed by the bullet-proof TH400 automatic transmission and 12 bolt rear end. It also comes nicely equipped with some desirable options such as power steering, power front disc brakes, gauge package (including factory tach), floor mounted shifter and air conditioning. This Chevelle SS 396 shows well, has a nice straight body, excellent running big block motor and is ready for the local cruise nights and drives on the fair weather Sunday afternoons.
