1968 Oldsmobile
4-4-2
Convertible
Drop Top Oldsmobile Muscle
In 1968, the
4-4-2 finally became its own model, not simply a performance package put on the Oldsmobile Cutlass. Available in coupe or convertible form, they were available with 4 versions of the 400 Olds motor, with the Hurst/Olds also making its debut with a 455 cu in engine.
This particular Oldsmobile is an original 4-4-2 convertible as stated in the desirable GM of Canada documentation, it has however been built the way many wishes they came from the factory, with a nicely built Oldsmobile 455 engine in place of the original 400. Back up by an automatic transmission, this car has the potential to dip into the 12 second ¼ mile times, has a nice solid body, painted dark green with black striping to compliment the black interior and black vinyl roof. Well built to be driven and enjoyed, this is an excellent opportunity to pick up a nice convertible muscle car, with the sound and power to impress.
