1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

Have you ever seen one like this??? Because we haven't .......

Entering its second year of production, the Chevrolet Chevelle had become a popular addition to the growing mid sized car market. In an effort to keep up with other competitors in the growing muscle car market, Chevrolet introduced an exciting new engine option, the L79 327 making 350 hp.

On June 3rd, 1965 at Wilcox-Rau Chevrolet in New Britain CT. a smile appeared on the face of their customer who just agreed to pay $74.04/month for 36 months to purchase this beautiful Chevelle Malibu. Factory equipped with the extremely desirable, new for 1965 numbers matching L79 327/350hp engine with 4 speed transmission. In selecting the L79 option, that also meant special sport suspension and posi-traction rear end were fitted to the car. Finished in its striking factory color Danube Blue and complemented by an optional blue interior.   Other options and features include power brakes, tinted windshield, factory radio, in dash tachometer, goldline biasply tires, T3 headlights, dual snorkel air breather and much more.   We purchased this special car direct from its second own and it was still titled in the original owners name.   Over the last few years this very unique car has benefited from an absolutely beautiful restoration at great expense, with only test miles since completion. This car becomes even more interesting as you go through the documentation!!!!!!   It comes complete with; purchase agreement, protect-o-plate with warranty booklet, dealer invoice, finance documents for purchase and even pay stub/invoice for a repair completed by the dealer a year after the purchase, plus a few more interesting items.   When you look at the entire package, options, condition, history and documentation this all makes for an incredible addition to any enthusiast garage and I don't know how you would ever find another???
