1966 Ford Mustang GT Convertible
2 Owner - A Code 4 Speed Pony Car
The original “Pony Car” was introduced midway through the 1964 model year. Designed to capture the growing youth market, Ford went to its parts bin to develop a fun, sporty, yet distinctly American car to be well priced and appeal to the young car buyer. The result was the Ford Mustang. Available in coupe, fastback or convertible configuration with your choice of 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder engines and automatic or manual transmissions, the Mustang was an instant sales hit and to this day is one of the longest running, bestselling models ever.
Recently acquired
from its second owners, this striking and fully restored 1966 Mustang
convertible spent its entire life in the beautiful state of
South Carolina
. Finished in its original Code H colour of
Sahara Beige with black bucket Pony interior and a black convertible top it has
a very unique look. That is further accented by the factory GT package

wheel. Factory ordered with an A code 289 four barrel V8 and running with a four speed manual
transmission, it also has many features that make this car a joy to drive such
as power steering, front disc brakes with twin circuit master cylinder and the
addition of a Vintage Air A/C system. This Mustang is a fantastic overall example,
from the beautiful primer/over spray undercarriage, to the unique colour and
long list of options. Add to that the great history since new and you have a
