  1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
1 of 1,000 Produced During a One Year Production Run!!

1996 was set to be the final model year for the long running C4 body style of the Corvette. In order to commemorate this milestone, the Corvette Design Team wanted to send it off in a worthy fashion before the all new C5 stole the spotlight. The Grand Sport emerged as a fantastic tribute to years of development, refinement and engineering. All cars were painted Admiral Blue with a solid white stripe over top and finished off with GS specific red hashmarks on the front left fender, very reminiscent of the original Grand Sport race cars from 1963. Power came from a special LT4 motor rated at 330hp, although many believe it to be under rated to not overshadow the soon to be released LS1.

This particular example was acquired from a Corvette aficionado in the Southern US with 31430 miles [50,581 km] showing on the odometer. The black interior shows very well with little to no signs of significant wear on the side boulsters. The Grand Sports came equipped with many features which were quite innovative, particularly for an American car in the 1990’s; proximity alarm/door locks, the digital dash with information center, not to mention the incredibly supportive bucket seats. This particular car features the rare Z51 suspension package. The overall look of the Grand Sport is finished off with the black 17” wheels. These cars were incredible performers; a great way to send off such a long running, successful and popular platform. It also comes with its original window sticker and bill of sale plus the promotional VHS tape and brochures.
