1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
Completely Documented, Beautifully Restored, Numbers Matching Z

This beautifully restored 1968 Z/28 was delivered in the rare and special order color of Corvette Bronze. It is complete with all of its paperwork and provenance and completely original numbers matching drivetrain. The original owner, Mr. Billy Kumpe, purchased the car new at McDonald Chevrolet in his home town of Sallisaw , Oklahoma . Billy was a serviceman stationed at Fort Hood , Texas and his frequent trips accounted for 48,000 miles of travel in his first two years of ownership. Like Billy, the Z/28 was retired from active duty in the early 1970’s. Over the next 20 plus years Billy used the Z/28 sparingly and it accrued a mere 17,000 additional miles.

The Z/28 was purchased in the late 90’s by Mr. Bob Moore who began a five year nut-and-bolt restoration of this Beautiful Chevrolet. Bob was determined to use only NOS parts for the restoration and recruited a number of Camaro notables to assist in the process including Mr. Jerry Macneish. The list of parts accumulated for the restoration is mind boggling and the results are nothing short of fantastic. The car was restored exactly as it was ordered. The original 302 MO engine is balanced and the original M21 4-Speed Transmission and 4.10:1 12-bolt Differential are completely rebuilt and operate flawlessly. All of the components are original to the car and date code correct.
