1970 Ford Mustang BOSS 429
Beautifully Restored
The story of how the BOSS 429 came to be is well known. Ford, in an effort to homologate their new BOSS engine for NASCAR racing were required to produce a limited number in street form for the public. Kar Kraft was commissioned to produce the cars based on production Mustangs, a total of 859 were produced for the 1969 model year, with only 499 leaving Kar Krafts shop for 1970.
This particular BOSS 429 is one of only
499 1970
models produced, finished in the very rare and desirable color of Grabber Orange and nicely complemented by a Black deluxe interior. It has benefited from a ground up restoration here at Legendary Motorcar. Done from top to bottom; red oxide primer undercarriage with factory replicated over spray, paint markings on the suspension and paper tags to the wet sanded and polished Grabber Orange paint. It features many sought after factory options such as F60 x 15 Goodyear Polyglas GT tires, black bucket deluxe interior with console, drag pack, competition suspension, rim blow steering wheel, factory tach, AM radio and more, all documented by a complete Marti Report and a build sheet. The restoration was finished only recently and has seen only test/tuning mileage since the completion. This is a wonderful example of a fully restored and documented BOSS 429 Mustang for the enthusiast or collector alike.
