1969 Shelby GT-350 Convertible
Documented 1 of 194 Convertibles Produced

One of the most unique elements of the muscle car era was the consumers ability to spec out and order the car of their dreams one option at a time. For some it was a stripped out hard top with big motor, for others, it was a loaded up convertible with looks and performance. The early days of Shelby Mustangs provided little options, but by 1969 the GT-350 had turned into one of the most desirable touring muscle cars available, with a plethora of available options and features.

Presented here is a beautifully restored 1969 Shelby GT-350 convertible. Finished in its factory correct livery of Candyapple red with black clarion knit/corinthian vinyl high back bucket seats, it showcases some of the most desirable options of its time; power convertible top, Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission, traction-lok rear differential, power front disc brakes, power steering, tachometer and even intermittent windshield wipers for the first model year!! Of the 3,150 Shelby Mustangs sold during the 1969 model year, only 194 GT-350 convertibles rolled out, making it the most rare of all ‘69 model Shelby Mustangs. Very nicely restored and detailed, documented with a Marti Report and listed in the Shelby Registry, this car represents a fantastic opportunity for the enthusiast or collector to add a rare convertible to their garage!!!
