In 1967 Ford came out with the first major
redesign of the incredibly popular Ford Mustang, this also meant that
Shelby
would be going to work on
the next of his more performance oriented Mustangs. Still equipped with the 289
Hi-Po engine,
Shelby
tuned to 306 hp, the Shelby GT350 is an excellent performing, well
balanced car, providing performance more comparable to a sports car than the
muscle car is appeared to be.

Shelby GT350 was sold new by Jack Loftus Ford in the
Chicago
area on
the
15th of February 1967
. Powered
by the potent 289/306hp Hi-Performance engine and equipped with a 4 speed manual
transmission.
As is documented by a
Marti report and original Shelby America invoicing, this GT350 came well
equipped with options such as fold down rear seat and the always sought after,
power steering, power brakes.
Shelby
added his characteristic features such as function fresh air vents in
place of rear quarter windows,
Shelby
front fascia with inboard mounted lights and
Shelby
rear spoiler integrated
into the rear fascia. Complete with proper 140 speedometer and 8,000 rpm tachometer,
Shelby
roll bar with retractable shoulder harnesses, Kelsey Hayes Mag-Star
rims with Goodyear Speedway 350 tires. Most certainly this car comes fully
documented with; Shelby Invoice, production order sheet, special vehicle order
and parts specifications list, deluxe Marti Report, listed in the
Shelby
registry on pages 724. Previously
restored with great attention to detail, this beautiful GT350 represents an
