1970 Ford Mustang BOSS 302
Documented BOSS 302
The muscle car era was very much influenced by the factories involvement in various racing programs, and in many cases, cars were developed and sold to the consumer as a direct result of the rule book for many racing programs. Among the most famous would have to be the Trans Am racing series, the several very impressive and legendary models perhaps never would have existed otherwise including the Camaro Z/28, Challenger T/A and of course the Mustang BOSS 302.
Finished in its factory correct Lime metallic paint with black, reflective BOSS specific striping, this example of the Boss marque was originally delivered new at Dusty Rhodes Ford in
Elizabethtown
Kentucky
. Factory equipped with black rhino/Corinthian vinyl bucket seats, this car also came with four speed close ratio transmission, traction-lok differential, power steering, AM radio and F60 x 15 tires, just as it appears today. It also showcases Magnum 500 wheels, front and rear spoilers and louvers and of course a shaker hood scoop. Of course this car also comes with complete documentation from Marti Auto Works showcasing its original dealer and build info as well as original options. This car has been well restored from the ground up with nicely polished paint, red oxide undercarriage with proper overspray and a nicely detailed engine bay. It represents a great opportunity to obtain a documented BOSS Mustang, ready to be driven and enjoyed!
