The 1965
model year may not have come with many styling changes for the already popular
C2 Corvette, but it did include some exciting mechanical upgrades, forever
cementing the Corvette as the premiere sports car from North America. Gone was the solid rear axle, in
place was a new independent suspension setup, to compliment the added handling
capabilities, the Corvette was also outfitted with 4 wheel hydraulic disc
brakes.

look!! Powered by the most powerful carbureted small block in Chevrolets
arsenal, the numbers matching solid lifter 327 cubic inch engine, factory rated
at 365hp, starts instantly and sounds terrific, deliverering the power smoothly
through a numbers matching Muncie 4 speed transmission. The leather
interior was restored with the body and shows that just as much attention to detail
was spent inside as it was out. The seats show as new, along with the dash,
gauges, carpet and of course the optional AM/FM radio with power antenna
functions as it should!! Overall this Corvette is a beautifully presented mid
year coupe, showing the traditional Corvette colours of Rally Red with black
interior and the performance of a solid lifter small block …. A valued addition
to any collection, or the garage of the enthusiast with many miles of enjoyment
