Mid way
through 1964, the Ford Motor Company introduced a car that would change the
automotive world. The Ford Mustang was designed for the growing baby boomers,
people looking for a fun, sporty car that provided good performance and at a
price affordable for almost anyone. The Mustang continues to be an impressive
seller for Ford to this day, and in 2004, to commemorate 40 years of continuous
production, they offered an Anniversary package on GT and GT convertible
models.
This triple
black 2004 GT Convertible is a real head turner. Black is a colour that looks
very impressive when it has been cared for, this Mustang is such an example.
From the black paint, to the black leather interior and soft top, this car has
a fantastic look, but anything can also be made better. This particular
convertible has its image further enhanced with the addition of Pro Lowering
springs and a Classic Design Concepts light bar, giving it a more menacing
appearance, backed up by the cat back Magnaflow exhaust system attached to the
SOHC 4.6 engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Rounding off the overall package,
the already impressive MACH 460 audio system has been upgraded with a Pioneer
head unit. The outcome is a well built and optioned factory GT Convertible with
great upgrades from the seemingly endless aftermarket support for the Mustang marques.
Showing a mere 36,350 km since new, this anniversary GT is a great car for the
enthusiast searching for the convertible to turn heads with on sunny afternoons
for many years to come.
