1947 Ford Super 8 Deluxe Convertible

Body Off Restored with Flathead V8 Power

The 1947 Ford lineup was updated slightly from the 41-46 models that preceded it. In an effort to drive sales traffic in Post War America , Henry Ford II was at the forefront of the updates including the 239 cu in Flathead V8 engine rated at 100hp.

This beautiful example is a 1947 model Super 8 Deluxe convertible. Having recently completed a full body off restoration, it is finished in an appropriate color of Dark Green with red interior and a black soft top with red trim. This convertible is also equipped with some desirable optional equipment for the period including a radio, heater, beauty rings, fender skirts and a functional Columbia rear end. The Flathead V8 runs incredibly smooth, as does the 3 speed column shifted manual transmission, making for a fantastic car to be driven and enjoyed. This Super 8 Deluxe appears to have been a well maintained vehicle leading up to its restoration, allowing for the body to remain all steel, the trim pieces all shine bright, as do the chrome bumpers front and rear and front grille, just as they would have new in 1947. This ’47 Ford represents an opportunity to pick up a fantastic piece for 1940’s Ford history, with all the labor intensive restoration already completed, ready to be driven and enjoyed.

Priced at $44,900
