2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS

35th Anniversary Convertible

2002 was a big year in the history of the Chevrolet Camaro, full of positives and negatives. The big positive being the 35th year of production since Chevrolets F-body was introduced to do battle on the streets and showrooms with the Ford Mustang, very few cars reach such a milestone. This exciting event was unfortunately over shadowed by the news from General Motors that following the 2002 model year, production of the Camaro would cease, with no firm plan in place for its return.

Presented here is a very special 2002 Camaro Anniversary edition. This car was delivered from the original selling dealer December 1, 2001 with all the available options; SS Performance & appearance as well as the previously mentioned anniversary package with its Rally Red paint and silver striping. Then, this already stout performer was sent to the F-Body specialist at SLP where this car truly became a special example, the dual-dual exhaust was added bringing output to 345hp, upgraded BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KD tires, Bilstein Ultra Performance suspension (including a lower ride height, sway bars, springs and shocks), rare Auburn High Torque performance rear axle, custom fitted car cover and much much more. Since the delivery day, this special Camaro has seen only 15,081 km of gentle use, in addition to being perfectly maintained, every moment of this cars life has been meticulously documented from the window sticker, ordering sheets, bill of sale, SLP birth certificate to the registration renewals, insurance proof, GM of Canada docs and sales brochures, all neatly organized in a large binder. One owner since new, possibly the most heavily optioned Camaro available, incredible documentation and perfectly maintained, a truly special example of the 35th Anniversary F-Body Camaro for the collector or Camaro enthusiast .
