For 1962,
Fords full size Galaxie was available in 14 different trim and body designs, some
of which including the 500/500XL in two door hard top to the four door sedan,
four door hardtop and of course the two door convertible best know as
“Sunliner”.
Presented
here is a 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 Sunliner, painted red complimented nicely by
black with white trim vinyl covering the bench seat interior. Powered by a 390
4V engine with an automatic transmission, this big block convertible features
some great options making it an absolute joy to drive and more pleasing to the
eye, most notable being air conditioning and of course power steering, power
brakes, power convertible top, dual exhaust and rear fender skirts. Just
recently this car was acquired from a long time owner, where the car had been
housed in a dry, controlled environment, it remains in great condition, a
fantastic car to be driven and enjoyed.
