1959 Chevrolet Impala

Beautifully Restored with 348 Tri Power

For the 1959 model year Chevrolet made some drastic changes to the design of the entire lineup. As the story goes, legendary GM designer Harley Earl took one look at the upcoming designs for the 1959 Chryslers and tossed all original Chevrolet plans out the window and started fresh. The results were spectacular, the horizontal wings and teardrop tail lamps, the beginning of the “bubble top” design, they were all cues that made the Chevrolet stand out and bring sales up.

This fully restored 1959 Impala model is a great example of the designs that made them famous. Beautifully finished in white with turquoise trim and matching turquoise bench interior, it has the perfect look for its era. The 348 engine has been topped with 3x2bbl carbs and runs smooth, connected to a 3 speed, column shifted manual transmission, is an absolute joy to drive. To complete the perfect look for ’59 it is also outfitted with wide white wall tires with matching turquoise steel wheels and hub caps, twin antennas on the back with brilliantly restored aluminum & chrome trim. Since its complete restoration, this Impala has been collector owned and always stored in climate controlled environment, this meticulous care has kept the car in excellent condition both physically and mechanically. The perfect car to take you back to the era of cruises and drive in movies every time jump into the drivers seat.
