Appearance
wise, 1965 brought subtle changes to the Corvette line up, but it was
underneath that the big changes took place. Corvettes now sported independent
front and rear suspension, four wheel disc brakes and you could now order a big
block engine for the lightweight sports car.
This 1965
roadster has been beautifully restored in its original livery of Milano Maroon
with black interior and black soft top. It features many options available on
the ’65 Corvette such as side exit exhaust, power brakes, power antenna,
telescopic steering wheel, 3.70 posi rear end, AM/FM radio, back up lights,
knock off wheels and of course the 396 cu. in. big block factory rated at 425
horsepower. Throughout the restoration, it is evident that care was taken to
ensure it was done properly from the correct T-3 headlights to the correct air
cleaner, there was lots of attention put to the details. All of which has
resulted in the car being the recipient of multiple NCRS Top Flight awards.
Included with the car are the previous NCRS judging sheets, a very complete
photo history of the restoration and other documents making this a great car
for the Corvette enthusiast in search a ’65 big block to show or drive and
enjoy.
