The 1965 model year may not have come with many styling changes for the already popular C2 Corvette, but it did include some exciting mechanical upgrades, forever cementing the Corvette as the premiere sports car from North America. Gone was the solid rear axle, in place was a new independent suspension setup, to compliment the added handling capabilities, the Corvette was also outfitted with 4 wheel hydraulic disc brakes.

Powered by a numbers matching 327/365hp solid lifter motor with numbers matching M20 Muncie 4 speed transmission, the sounds of this fantastic motor are only emphasized by the factory side pipe exhaust and posi-traction rear end with 3.70:1 gears. Other features of this car include new Redline radial tires on aluminum knock off wheels, AM/FM radio, power antenna, soft ray glass and fully functioning instrumentation right down to the clock.
