LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello.
From 1996 to 2002 Ferrari introduced the 550 Maranello, the first Ferrari since the Daytona to be a 2-seater front engine GT. The progress of technology ensured that the front engine configuration provided the same level of performance of mid-engine designs. The name Maranello pays tribute to the Scuderia Ferrari founding location in 1929. Although the 550 is powered by a 5.5L V12, it wasn’t all about performance. Like the front engine Ferraris of the 1950s and 60s, it is also meant for cross country travel, and comfort. The drivability of the 550 Maranello was quite impressive with a spacious cockpit, smooth suspension, and excellent stability. Ferrari would only produce 3,083 of these revolutionary GTs, making them fairly rare to see, and creating the beginning sense of collectability.
This 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello has traveled only 6,384 miles from new. It was sold new at Ferrari of Atlanta to its first owner, who lived locally. The beautiful PPG Rosso Corsa 322 D.S. factory paint shows like new and is virtually unmarked, while the Beige Leather interior looks as good as it did nearly 20 years ago. With electric adjusting seats, electric windows, power mirrors, air conditioning and a Silverstone 6-Disc Changer, it is easy to see the amount of luxury and comfort matches the amount of performance and power this 550 delivers. With the 5.5L V12 and the 6-speed gated manual transmission, the 550 Maranello reaches 60MPH in just 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of just shy of 200MPH. This Ferrari is one of the first true modern day Ferraris and will treat the next owner to a wonderful mix of comfort and exhilaration.
This low mileage Ferrari 550 Maranello is in next to new condition both interiorly and exteriorly. Loaded with desirable options, and impressive performance, this 550 is an investment that will bring a smile to many faces for many years to come. This Ferrari comes complete with; books, extra key, odometer disclosure statement, old bill of sale, pre-delivery checklist, original owners card, becker radio code card, Ferrari salesman card and more. It has benefited from a major service less than 300 miles ago. It is a recent trade in and it has been priced very market correct.
