LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback
From the beginning when Ford first launched the Mustang they anticipated sales at the modest figure of 100,000 units. Unbeknownst to them they had started a revolution in what would be one of the most iconic vehicles in shape and name. Originally offered in two body styles and three choices of transmission, either a soft top convertible with the option of a power assist or the hardtop. Power was sent to the rear wheels via a three or four speed manual or a three speed automatic.
This particular example is a factory “C” code 2+2 Fastback and built at the Dearborn assembly plant. It was originally sold at Hurst Motor Co in Commerce, Georgia. It has been beautifully restored in its factory delivered Springtime Yellow and Black interior complete with fold down rear seat. According to the original window sticker this Mustang came factory equipped with Backup Lights, Fordaire Air Conditioning, AM Radio, Tinted Windshield, Deluxe Seat Belts, Console, and Visibility Group. During the restoration period this Mustang was also been treated to some additional extras including GT equipment, Styled Steel Wheels, Front Disc Brakes, 4bbl Carburetor and intake as well as Modern Radial Tires. It also comes fully documented with original window sticker, original title, owner’s manual, and ownership history.
This beautifully restored 1965 Mustang Fastback is the perfect cruiser to take to your local car show. It has been tastefully upgraded for better drivability, performance and styling. With these characteristics combined with full documentation and a beautiful restoration, this Mustang Fastback is an enthusiast’s dream.
